Winemaker's Tasting NotesA limited release full-bodied dry red wine vintaged from Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes. Dense dark crimson in colour with blackcurrant, violets, cedar and spice on the bouquet. The palate is rich and well balanced with a core of sweet berry fruit and fine savoury tannins supporting a long, persistent finish. This is Australia's most famous blend, and a terrific example of the style.
Restrained red fruit notes. Sandalwood notes. Soft berry fruit and good weight on the palate. Good persistent length.

Dense dark fruit displays stacks of plums and blackcurrant character on the nose with a little savoury edge to it. The palate is seamless and tightly woven into a beautifully intense coil of fruit concentration. Deep sweet fruit in the middle palate extends to a dry savoury finish. Excellent wine from these two varieties. 95/100

A robust, juicy style, with plenty of cassis/ plum/ black olive varietal fruit and a good backbone of cedary/ tobacco oak. Starting to evolve but needs lots more time yet.
