Winemaker's Tasting NotesA single vineyard wine showing great depth of flavour and finesse. Bright straw-green in colour, with complex aromas of nectarine and citrus. Wild yeast fermentation and maturation in French oak barriques has produced a finely textured, rounded palate, with refreshing minerality on a long persistent finish. It is a terrific "food wine" that can be enjoyed young, or cellared for several years to develop further.
Our top wine had everything in correct proportion. The fruit was pure, focused and energised. The acid enlivened and lengthened the palate and complexity was subtle and purposeful. A wine of great class and refinement.
